Sohan's Pictures

Today Nimmerta turns 5 months old. How time flies! Since I still dont have any pictures of her to post yet, thought I will post Sohan's pictures when he turned 5 months instead. Sohan, Jagdev and I went to Bukit Tinggi for 2 days. We had a wonderful and quiet time together as a family. Though he was still a baby, Sohan seemed to enjoy the holiday especially when we visited the rabbit farm. It was the first time Jagdev and me actually heard him laugh so much.

Looking back, we had so much of time on our hand with him compared to Nimmerta. I guess first borns are always the luckiest ones.

Well, today's a long day at work. It's a Monday and tomorrow's Christmas. 90% of the office is empty. Time is passing awfully slowly. So I though that since I have all the time today, i may as well post more today (since there is so much to share).

Well, just some update, Sohan just came back from Samelan which was held in Klang this year. He was with his pitaji as I could not go for the entire duration due to the fact that I had just started a new job. Anyway, Guruji answered my prayers and my company granted us Friday (21st Dec) as unrecorded leave. So, I managed to attend samelan on Thu (Raya Haji hol) and Fri.

Sohan was with Jagdev for 3 whole days, 24 hours! Though it proved to be challenging, Jagdev managed very well. I too was a little apprehensive at first in allowing him to take Sohan along, but deep down inside I knew that he could do it. Moreover, Sohan is very close to him. I would not hesitate to say that he is an exceptionally fantastic father to our kids and and a wonderful husband to me, not too mention a beautiful soul and dutiful son to his father. Waheguru has indeed blessed our kids and me. I cannot tell you the amount of people who came up to me when I went to samelan grounds on Thursday to tell me about Jagdev and how amazingly he had handled Sohan. They were so astonished at his patience and calmness which is really rare for a man when it comes to managing children not too mention for 3 long days and not in the comfort of your own home. But let me tell you, that is Jagdev. That's probably the reason why Sohan is so attached to him. Even my mum is amazed with Jagdev.

Long Overdue!

Yeah right! So much for creating a blog! HOW DO REAL PEOPLE FIND THE TIME???!!! Was supposed to be writing about my delivery, post some pictures, update on baby's growing up years, oops sorry....months.....and what happened? Baby's here...SOME TIME BACK! She's turning 5 months on Wednesday!

Anyway, never too late. Nimmerta Kaur was born on the 26th July....2 days short of her beloved Sohan veerji's birthday, which falls on 28th July (at least we can save on the cost and celebrate their birthdays together!). Hope to post some pictures in January (that's Jagdev's dept). Sohan adores her and vice versa but they show it differently. He; as close and as tightly as possible till she screams her lungs out and she; from afar. She just loves watching him as he tries to make her laugh with his antics but the moment he comes slightly close to her, she gives me the look that says; save me mataji!

It's lovely to watch them together. Sometimes, Jagdev finds it hard to believe that he is a father of 2 kids already, amazed at how time flies. Sohan has always been extremely attached to Jagdev, even I was not allowed to come in between them, as he loved saying, my pitaji, my darling, my husband! At least,with Nimmerta around, he is no longer possessive of his pitaji. But, pitaji is still his best friend.
